SACRAMENT OF FIRST COMMUNION:
First Communion normally takes place when your child is in Grade 2. It is usually
celebrated in April or May of each year. Preparation classes begin in March however,
so please watch for further information.
There is an important parent information meeting on Thursday October 4th, 2007, at
7 pm in the Parish Centre. This meeting is to explain the program and allow you
to register your child.

SACRAMENT OF FIRST RECONCILIATION:
Reconciliation now takes place in Grade 2 before Children receive the Sacrament of
First Communion. This year the Sacrament will be celebrated on November 22nd.
Classes begin at the beginning of November. Information is sent home with each
child through St. Joseph School, however if your child does not attend St. Joseph
school, please contact Michelle for further information.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION:
Confirmation normally takes place when your child is in Grade 8. However, last year
because of our small class sizes we celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation with
both the Grade 7’s & 8’s. Therefore this year, our parish is not having a celebration
of the Sacrament of Confirmation. If your child missed Confirmation last year, please
contact Michelle and she will give you information for the other parishes in Chatham.
