St. Joseph's (Harwich) Catholic Women's League Council

St. Joseph is fortunate to have two Catholic Women's League Councils - St. Joseph (City) and St. Joseph (Harwich) which includes the rural area of the Parish community.

The St. Joseph (Harwich) Council meets the first Monday of each month in the homes of our members at 7:30pm with Mass being said before the meeting approximately 3 times per year. We try to have information meetings with speakers from local organizations. We experience gladness in service as Eucharistic Ministers, Readers, Choir members and Altar servers, by servincg luncheons for family and friends of our deceased in our parish community and as workers at monthly bingos in our Chatham-Kent community. Our joy is shared in doing God's will for others through hospital and shut-in visits.

We enjoy hostessing at our year-end barbeque with our sisters of four other Chatham Catholic parishes and our annual Broasted Chicken dinner in August.

Our greatest satisfaction comes from being able to fulfil the needs of those who cross our paths in our daily lives.

New members are always welcome and are encouraged to call (519)354-0091 or attend any monthly meeting.
